Using NEXTPLAY
NEXTPLAY publishes high school sports coverage and lets athletes, coaches, recruiters and fans follow along. Use the site lawfully and respectfully. We can suspend accounts that break these rules.
Who can use NEXTPLAY
NEXTPLAY is not intended for children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from your parent or legal guardian to use NEXTPLAY. Accounts found to belong to someone under 13 will be closed. A parent or guardian can ask us to review or delete a minor's account information through the contact link below.
Accounts and verification
Give accurate information when you sign up. Claiming an athlete profile means you are that athlete, or a coach or guardian acting for them. Claims go through a review hold before the verified badge appears, and a false claim ends the account. Claiming a profile does not create, change or verify any statistics — those come only from sourced records. Public sports information may appear in the directory even if an athlete has never created an account.
What you post
You keep ownership of what you post and give NEXTPLAY permission to display it on the site. Do not post content you do not have rights to, anything harassing, hateful, sexual, violent, or anything that exposes a minor's private details. You may tag an athlete or team in content you own, and the tag is active right away. A tagged athlete can remove their own tag at any time, blocking prevents tagging, tags on profile-only content never appear on the tagged athlete's page, and a tag grants no ownership or editing rights. Reporting, blocking and removal apply after posting.
Sports data
Schedules, scores, statistics and box scores come from schools and published sources and are shown with their source link. We never invent or estimate results. Mistakes happen — report them and we will verify and correct.
Third-party video
Broadcast and highlight footage that belongs to others is embedded from the original host with attribution intact. We do not copy or re-host it, and rights holders can ask for removal at any time.
No warranty
NEXTPLAY is provided as is. We are not responsible for recruiting outcomes, decisions made from information on the site, or content posted by other people.
